THNDR TCG Refund & Return Policy
Effective Date: 7/10/2025
THNDR TCG is a peer-to-peer collectible card marketplace designed to protect both buyers and sellers. By purchasing through our platform, you agree to the following refund and return policy.
1. Refund Eligibility Before Shipment
Refunds may only be issued before a seller marks the item as “shipped.”
Buyers must request a cancellation as soon as possible after purchase.
Once an item is marked as shipped, the sale is considered final unless a valid post-shipment issue occurs.
2. Refunds After Shipment – Valid Reasons Only
Refunds after an item has shipped will only be considered under the following circumstances:
The item received is incorrect or missing from the package
The item was damaged inside the packaging
The packaging was inadequate, resulting in damage
The package was stolen after confirmed delivery (proof required)
The seller shipped to the wrong address (based on the order confirmation)
Buyers must provide supporting evidence, including:
A video recording of the package being opened
Clear photos of the packaging, the item, and any damage
Shipping labels and tracking details
Police or postal documentation in the case of theft
If none of the above are sufficiently proven, the refund request will be denied to protect the seller.
3. Proof Requirement
To qualify for post-shipment refunds, buyers are strongly encouraged to record themselves opening the package. Lack of reliable proof may result in THNDR TCG siding with the seller.
4. Shipping and Address Disputes
Buyers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout. If an incorrect address is submitted and the item is delivered there, THNDR TCG will not issue a refund.
If the seller ships to an address different from the one on the confirmed order, the seller is responsible and must issue a refund or replacement.
5. Timeline for Refund Requests
Buyers must report issues within 3 calendar days of delivery.
Sellers have 3 calendar days to respond.
If no agreement is reached, THNDR TCG staff will review the dispute and issue a final decision based on the evidence provided.
6. Unauthorized Returns
Returns are not permitted without prior approval.
Returning an item without seller authorization — including refusing delivery or marking it “Return to Sender” — does not qualify for a refund.
7. Refund Limitations
Sealed products that are opened are not returnable unless the wrong item was sent.
Single cards (singles) cannot be returned due to market fluctuations or buyer’s remorse.
Bulk lots or listings with user-submitted photos are final unless the item received materially differs from the description.
8. Counterfeit Claims
If you suspect you received a counterfeit item:
Contact THNDR TCG within 30 calendar days of delivery
Provide order details and card information
We may request the card be sent for verification
If confirmed counterfeit, a full refund will be issued. Repeated abuse of counterfeit claims may result in account suspension.
9. Resolution Process
If a seller and buyer are unable to resolve a dispute within the allowed timeframe, THNDR TCG will review all available evidence and make a final, binding decision. Sellers are legally obligated to comply with any refund or return decision made by THNDR TCG.
10. Non-Delivery
If an item does not arrive and tracking information does not confirm delivery, the seller is responsible for refunding the buyer in full. Proof of shipment (such as a postal receipt) is not considered sufficient unless valid tracking shows the package was delivered to the buyer’s address.
Sellers may still open a dispute with their chosen shipping carrier to recover the lost item or its value through insurance claims. However, the buyer’s refund will not be delayed while this process takes place.
11. Marketplace Role & Liability
THNDR TCG is a peer-to-peer marketplace platform. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee the items sold on the site. All product listings are created and managed by independent vendors.
While THNDR TCG provides dispute resolution and enforces this Refund & Return Policy, we are not directly responsible for product quality, delivery times, or any transactions that occur outside of our platform.
